ENGINEERING

This section of the Company is responsible for the mechanical refurbishment and overhaul of the cars which are entrusted to our care, and also the overhaul of individual units on behalf of clients as required. In the case of a coachbuilt car such as Rolls-Royce or Bentley, this will involve the restoration of the chassis up to the point when, originally as a newly built chassis, it would have been shipped to the Coachbuilder selected by the original owner to build the body of his (or her) choice.

The work undertaken includes attention to the following:

• Chassis alignment and straightening
• Suspension
• Steering system
• Braking system
• Lubrication system
• Engine overhaul
• Gearbox and transmission
• Rear axle
• Fuel system
• Cooling system
• Chassis wiring and electrical systems
