Notes to the Parts List

Those items which are priced are either in stock at the time of preparation of the price list, or fresh stock is awaited. Items which are not priced are scheduled for manufacture in the future. The relative priority assigned to items in this category is governed partly by the level of demand – if you require a component which is not currently available please let us know, as this will help us to gauge potential demand.

We are happy to manufacture new parts on a one-off basis, but this can be very expensive. We prefer to manufacture in small batches and keep some “on the shelf”. The rate at which new batches become available is governed not only by demand, but also by budgetary considerations and machine shop capacity. These limitations mean that it is not always possible to complete parts as quickly as we or our customers would like.

Every care has been taken in the preparation of this list, but there may be errors which have been overlooked. We endeavour to hold prices as listed, but they may be subject to alteration without notice. To avoid any misunderstanding please check prices before ordering. All prices are given in pounds Sterling.

Prices do not include VAT. VAT will be charged at the rate current on the date of invoice on all goods delivered within the UK, and also within the EEC unless the customer is VAT registered. VAT is due on all packing and delivery charges, and also on Recorded Delivery and Registered Mail charges.

Overseas sales : VAT is not charged on goods despatched by ourselves to an address outside the EEC. Should goods be collected from us by an overseas visitor to the U.K. for subsequent export, VAT will be charged. The amount of VAT will be refunded on receipt of proof of export.

The following charges apply to all orders despatched by post or carrier :

1 Postage and carriage will be charged at or near cost.
2 On orders with a goods value less than £1,500, packaging will be charged as follows :
For goods delivered within the UK, £3.00 minimum
For goods delivered within the EC, £4.00 minimum
For goods despatched outside the EC, £7.00 minimum
3 Special packaging where required will be charged at cost.

Should parts which have been correctly supplied by Fiennes Restoration be subsequently returned for credit, such parts will be subject to a 10% handling charge. No credit will be given for the initial packing and delivery costs. Loss due to damage in transit must be notified to us within three days of delivery. Shortages or errors must be notified to us within seven days of delivery. At all times please quote the relevant invoice number.
Please check your order immediately on delivery.

Please note that individual components of kits cannot be returned for credit.

Generally the sales invoice is attached to the outside of the package, in a “Documents Enclosed” wallet. This also serves as the delivery address. If the goods have been delivered correctly you have also received the invoice!
Do not throw away the packaging without first retrieving the invoice.

Please note that whenever we despatch parts to you the Invoice forms the label for delivery, attached to the outside of the parcel or packet. If you have received the goods you have also received the invoice.

Do not dispose of the packaging before you have recovered the invoice.
